Giselle Nehma

Senior Associate

  • Bachelor of Arts/Law at Monash University; and
  • Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

Giselle has joined our team this year after practising in criminal law for several years in various complex and indictable matters. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in March 2012, having previously completed a Bachelor of Arts/Law at Monash University and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

She undertook a professional placement at Lewenberg & Lewenberg Solicitors in November 2011, following which she was engaged by the firm as a Solicitor,  commencing in April 2012. She was mentored by Alex Lewenberg and Avi Furstenberg and was elevated to Senior Associate before joining our office this January.

She regularly appears and instructs in matters, including trials, Magistrates’ Court and Children’s Court proceedings, Intervention Order Matters and Mediation. She speaks Arabic and brings a detailed and thorough approach to her matters. She is also our Summary Crime Manager and assists in the supervision of other staff, bringing her wealth of experience to the role.
